The ranges show what we recommend each class for, based on what your reel is built for. The load capacity of the bearings goes far beyond that: Apex handles up to 150 g, Edge over 250 g, Core over 500 g.
Your reel sets the limit
How much load a reel can take is decided by the reel itself: spool, gears, drag and body. The bearings play a minor part. The right bearings help you cast lighter lures further, but they do not raise the load capacity of your reel.
