Three classes. Which one is yours?

Our pick follows what your reel is built for.

  • Apex

Maximum performance. The best bearings we make for reels built for light lures.

    • 2 to 60 g
    • ABEC 9
    • S30 ceramic
  • Edge

The all-rounder. Right between performance and durability, for most bass, zander and pike setups.

    • 5 to 100 g
    • ABEC 9
    • S25 hybrid ceramic
  • Core

Built to take a beating. Full stainless and shielded, made for big bait anglers and hard daily use.

    • 8 to 200 g
    • ABEC 5
    • Stainless steel

Lure weight is a recommendation, not a load limit

The ranges show what we recommend each class for, based on what your reel is built for. The load capacity of the bearings goes far beyond that: Apex handles up to 150 g, Edge over 250 g, Core over 500 g.

Your reel sets the limit

How much load a reel can take is decided by the reel itself: spool, gears, drag and body. The bearings play a minor part. The right bearings help you cast lighter lures further, but they do not raise the load capacity of your reel.
