When a reel runs heavier at the end of the season than at the start, it is rarely broken. It is dirt, old grease and the wrong tools. This kit is the full service setup: the tools to open the reel, the lubricants for every part inside, and a mat to work on so no screw rolls away. It is the same setup we use on the bench every day.
The Baitcaster Reel Tool Kit on its own is 49.95 €. The Pro Kit adds the mat and all four lubricants for 89.95 €. If you only swap spool bearings, the tool kit is enough. If you want to strip, clean and grease the whole reel, take the Pro Kit.
Pro Kit + spool bearings
The spool bearings are the part that decides how far you cast. Type your reel below, pick a class, and the matching pair goes in with the Pro Kit. Together the kit costs less.
Your reel
Type the model. You get the exact pair for your reel, with our pick marked.

The full service setup
After a season a reel runs heavier than it should. Old grease, dirt and a bit of water are enough. With the right tools, the right lubricant for each part and a clean place to work, a full service is an evening at the table. This box has all three.
Which grease goes where
One grease for everything is how most reels end up slow. Each part in a reel needs something different, so the kit has one lubricant per job.
For the worm shaft and the level wind gears. Soft enough that the line guide keeps running light.
For the main gear, where the load is highest when you crank against a fish.
For the drag washers. Keeps the drag smooth and steady, also on long runs.
For the spool bearings and the spool shaft. Very thin, so the spool keeps its free spin.
Antistatic, heat resistant to 500 °C, non slip silicone. Parts trays and a ruler edge, so no screw rolls away.
Pin remover, pick tool, lock nut wrench, screwdriver with 7 bits, 2.5 mm hex key, bearing check tool and tweezers. Plus a brush and two parts boxes.
Tool kit or Pro Kit?
The case with all 7 tools. Enough to open the spool side, change the bearings and close the reel again.
The same case plus the mat and all four lubricants. For stripping the reel, cleaning out old grease and building it up fresh.
Good to know: there is no manual in the box, because every reel is built differently. Our guides show the common jobs step by step. Maintenance is at your own risk.
FAQ
Only if a spool bearing sits behind a pin on the spool shaft. Type your reel into the bearing finder. It tells you if your reel is one of them.
Yes. The Baitcaster Reel Tool Kit includes a pin remover. If you only need to get the pin out, the single pin remover is enough.
The tools are made for baitcasting reels. Bits, wrench and hex key cover the common screws and handle nuts.
No. Every reel comes apart a little differently. If you service your own reels you will know your way around. Maintenance and installation are at your own risk.
